Teixeira (Tee) Barber is a HER Summit Committee Member

I am a faithful worshiper, a wife, and a mother who is passionate about encouraging and uplifting women through faith, love, and authenticity. Music is one of my greatest passions, and singing for God is one of the ways I express my worship. I may not love the spotlight, but I thrive behind the scenes serving, supporting, and giving wherever God places me. I truly believe that is where my impact is strongest.  The vision behind the swag bags that are given out each year comes from a place of gratitude, not expectation, knowing that everything I do is ultimately for God’s glory.

Fun fact: They call me the General “I believe everything needs to be done in an orderly fashion with a little grace.” I also care for three houseplants named Tom, LulaBell, and Bella, a reminder that nurturing growth, in any form, is always worth it.
